Adult Management: Anyone wishing to be part of the management for Reserve C, D, U-21 or minor level for 2012 should have their name forwarded to Kieran McKenna 087-6918445 or Gary Meehan 086-8368417 before this Sunday night, 29^th January.

Juvenile Management: Anyone who wishes to be part of juvenile management in the coming year can contact Martin Woods  on 086-3793774 before this Sunday night, 29^th January. Management is required for U-6, U-8, U-10, U-12, U-14a, U-14b & U-16 teams.

Annual County Awards: The Monaghan county awards night takes place in the Hillgrove on Friday 27^th January. We are to receive a number of awards at the ceremony: Juvenile club of the year, referee club merit award, Gerard Treanor-senior referee of the year and Siobhan McKenna is to receive the camogie player of the year award. Tickets for the event with dinner is priced at €30 can be ordered through Adrian Sherry on 087 1377635.

Senior Fixtures: We have entered the Ulster club league this year. We are in group A with games against Trilllick (Tyrone), Bellaghy (Derry), Kilcar (Donegal), Derrylaughan (Tyrone) & Slaughtneill (Derry). The first game is to be played on Sunday 5^th February. Juvenile Presentation: We held a successful juvenile presentation night in St. Mellans tonight. 2009 GAA player of the year and Kerry man Paul Galvin presented the medals to all our juvenile winners from last year.

AGM: The Club’s AGM took place on Friday in St. Mellans. The AGM was attended by 108 club members, more than double the amount that attended last year. The following patrons were returned as Presidents- Fr. Macartan McQuaid, Jimmy Treanor & Mary Corrigan. The returned Vice Presidents were Annie Treanor, Pat McKenna, Johnny Skinnader, John James Daly, Johnny McQuaid, Jim Pat McKenna & Owen Skinnader. The following officers were returned: Chairman-Raymond Treanor, Vice Chairman-Gary Meehan, Secretary-Not filled, Asst. Secretary- Kieran McKenna (newly appointed), Treasurer-Bernard Treanor (newly appointed), Asst. Treasurer- Michael Treanor (newly appointed), PRO-Adrian Sherry, Registrar-Brian Rafferty (newly appointed), Player Rep.-John Treanor (newly appointed), Handball Rep.-Kevin Treanor, Ladies Football Rep.-Ursula McKenna, Hurling Rep.-Pronsias McKenna, Camogie Rep.-Majella McKenna. Glynn Williams, Centra-Emyvale, making a presentation of club polo shirts to Gaeil Triucha juveniles which was sponsored by Glynn to each juvenile player. Gaeil Triucha are represented in the photo by club chairman, Raymond Treanor, and a selection of the juvenile committee and players.

Club Accolade: It was announced at the Monaghan convention last night that we got the Monaghan juvenile club of the year. The award will be presented to the club in January. Congratulations to all within the club for making this happen.

Gaeil Triucha Lotto winner Eugene Treanor receives a cheque for EUR 3,000 on his recent lotto win from the  weekly lotto draw. Presenting the cheque to Eugene are Brian Rafferty and Roisin Donaghue.
