Monaghan Camogie Senior League Final: Gaeil Triucha 2-6 Inniskeen 2-5; Congratualtions to the camogie team who won their first trophy since 1999 with a 1 point victory over Inniskeen in the senior league final on Sunday, 4TH October 2009. Played in Clontibret, it was Inniskeen that started the game stronger, however a late first half goal by Truagh left the gaels 1-1 to 0-3 in front at half time. The Truagh girls put a strong rally together in the second half and lead by 5 points going into injury time. Although Inniskeen scored a goal and a point in the 5 minutes of injury time played, it was Truagh that held out to record a fine victory, 2-6 to 2-5.

Truagh Camogie International: Congratulations to Sharon Mc Quillan who represented the Irish Shinty team in Scotland on Saturday, 30th October 2009. Sharon did her club proud as the Irish team beat the Scottish girls 2-2 to no score. Sharon was accompanied by Roisin Mc kenna from the Castleblayney camogie club.
